I posted this on flickr today. I've been meaning to do it for a while, but of course it looks completely boring today! sorry, guys.

I always think these are fun and the flickr pool keeps me busy for hours! I'm always slightly envious of those people who carry around all those crazy, fun, random things, like matchbox cars? or the mini fans? or a million little colorful bags, each organized for different things? woah. now that's organization!

but this is my boring ole bag for today. I'll admit, sometimes it gets a little spunky, but most of the time it looks just like my bedroom...messy, but instead of clothes everywhere there are receipts or papers with leftover gum stuck in them!

tea partayy!

so my sister in law and I are decorating a table at our church's tea party this year. sounds fun, right?

It’s like party planning but a million times less stressful! All you have to do is decorate and host a table for 10 people. Piece. Of. Cake. (literally) ha!

We are going for an orange/yellow/browns color scheme, with maybe some greens (so don’t pay much attention to the colors in the photos). Here are some random decor ideas I found that we might be able to incorporate, so tell me what you think!

We were going for something organic with lots of textures, very natural and earthy! Cork placemats, pears, wheat grass, wood grain , burlap, mason jars and attention to detail...sounds lovely to me.
this is just the beginning, lots of DIY projects to come.

let it be said that I am a terrible blogger. I think about blogging often, but do I actually do it?? obviously not. I have been reading blogs though [nothings changed there], and my favorite lately is Elise Blaha's Blog, so full of wonderful typography and lovely ideas, albums, srapbooks and journals. It makes me so happy and inspired, not to mention the letterpress! This project recently caught my attention:




I just purchased a Russell & Hazel mini album for a small project I'm working on for close friend of mine and Elise's posts come in very handy for me. Definitely a daily read. hope you EnJOY it!

I've also decided that it's time for a new header. Mine is so boring and monochromatic. Time for something fresh and new and filled with colors, pictures and fonts. be on the lookout!
